We were hired by Hollywood to create for them an amazing commercial that showcased their key services. We also created a new business logo for Hollywood, and animated the new logo in their business commercial. They needed something that would gain more attention to this Saint Lucie West Salon and Barbershop, and help both sides of the shop gain more traffic. The shop is in a great location in the heart of Saint Lucie West, and just off of I-95. From the street view the shop is hard to see because of the trees and bushes by the road, they block potential customers driving by from seeing the shop.

The first scenes I wanted to show was drone shots coming out and above the trees showing off The shop like no one ever gets to see, and creating real eye catching aerial shots in super slow motion at 120fps. Next I filmed all the Barbershop scenes, showing the intros of a customer coming in and getting set up with the barber, and cut to the finishing and polishing of the haircut. Then over with the Salon side, I filmed Stacey as she gave her customer a double dimensions color, with cut and blow dry service. Next we set up in the back of the shop with Elizabeth in the spa area, and followed her pedicure and manicure gel service. The second to last part of the video is a steady shot of the foyer, with the new animation of the new logo that we designed for the business. Hollywood wanted a logo that was good for the barber side as well as the salon part of the shop, and what could be more perfect than a shop chair. After sketching out a few ideas, It hit me to use the small h from hollywood to make the top part of the chair, then just to add the base and pole at the bottom and a headrest and footrest to the h and we had my new awesome business logo for Hollywood Salon and Barber.

Then ending with the very last shot of the commercial with the one last drone shot, pulling back and over the treetops in super slow motion, focused on the business and the sign over the door. It took a few days to film this commercial, choosing the best days days to come in and film the customers we wanted for this video. Rather than using models we used the actual customers of Hollywood Salon and Barber, as well as featuring the owner’s Grandmother for the mani and pedi scenes. We had alot of fun shooting this, and I really hope this business does well gaining new customers drawn in by their new commercial and business logo.

The shop owner Stacey has over 15 years as a cosmetologist in her hometown of Port Saint Lucie, Florida.
